For The Gearheads

Photography really isn't about the gear.... until it is. Some projects do require specialized gear, and when working with other photographers on such projects, sharing such information becomes necessary.

Regarding my software choices...

I am committed to client privacy and safety

I am actively working to migrate to software that does not violate my clients' privacy and safety. As such, I am actively investigating, testing, and where possible, migrating to software solutions that do not expose your photos to cloud-based AI and/or machine learning systems and algorithms. I have outright disabled this functionality where possible in the applications I use. I also wish to use the best possible tools for the job to maintain the highest possible standard of quality in my work, so this will not be a quick or easy process. I do not desire to allow my works to be used to train AI (or any other form of machine learning), and I do not want your privacy violated against either of our wills. This includes both open-source and commercial solutions, down to the operating system of the computers themselves.
